The SK Rapid Wien runs on the third day of the group stage in the UEFA Europa League finally get the first win one. The Hütteldorfer beat Dinamo Zagreb in their home West Stadium deserved 2-1.
After Croatia’s record champions got off to a slightly better start, Marco Grüll puts the green-whites in the lead. Kelvin Arase nibbled two Dinamo defenders on the right edge of the box, Grüll (9th) used the following pass into the back area for the first Rapid goal in the group phase into the far corner.

Ten minutes later, Rapid takes the lead again, Maximilian Hofmann (34th) hits after a strong free-kick from Grüll. It is Rapids’ first goal this season after a dormant ball.
In the second half of the game, both teams act imprecisely in the build-up game, with great chances to score except for a strong kick from Kara (69th), which Zagreb goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic parries brilliantly.
Rapid collects the first three points in this Europa League season and is third ahead of the Belgians ahead of the game between West Ham United and KRC Genk (from 9:00 p.m. in the LIVE ticker ). Dinamo Zagreb are tied for second place.
