Cat survives Florida building collapse, found near rubble, reunited with family

Binx the feline, who had lived on the 10th floor of the South Florida apartment suite fabricating that imploded last month, has been discovered safe and gotten back to its family, authorities said Friday.

Gina Nicole Vlasek, prime supporter of The Kitty Campus, posted on Facebook that a dark feline taking after Binx was found close to the rubble of the Surfside building Thursday night and brought to the gathering’s close by office in Miami Beach. A previous Champlain Towers South occupant visited The Kitty Campus on Friday and affirmed that the cat was hers, Vlasek said.

“We are so appreciative to have the option to help in any little manner,” Vlasek composed.

Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said during a news gathering Friday evening that Binx was perceived by a been volunteer taking care of felines close to the fell structure.

“I’m happy that this minor act of God could carry some light into the existences of a lamenting family today and could give a brilliant spot to our entire local area amidst this horrible misfortune,” Levine Cava said.
